Manage Excessive Perspiration with Dress Shields

In this article I will give an introduction to dress shields and describe how they can help you to manage excessive perspiration.

What are dress shields?

Dress SheildsDress shields are a fabric product designed to absorb perspiration and odour. They are worn against the skin and act a barrier that protects outer clothing from becoming wet.

They are available in a number of shapes and sizes, each suitable for a particular application and style of outer clothing. The most common type is the underarm dress shield which is circular or oval in shape.

Dress shields can be:
Disposable – typically made from a light cotton blend material; or
Reusable – made from a washable cotton fabric.

Dress shields are typically held in place with an adhesive tape that attaches to your outer clothing. They can also be inserted to specially designed vests or other undergarments.

Do dress shields work to manage excessive perspiration?

Dress shields can offer excellent results to many sufferers of excessive perspiration. Modern dress shield products are well designed and can be quite comfortable to wear.

Excessive perspiration sufferers experience extra confidence while wearing dress shields, which in term reduces anxiety and reduces sweating.

The only downside of using dress shields to manage excessive perspiration is that the solution can be quite expensive, particularly if the sufferer regularly changes disposable dress shields.

If you have not already done so, I recommend you try dress shields for yourself.

I tried to use dress shields for a while but I found them quite uncomfortable. Nowadays I just wear them for special events or times when I am likely to sweat a lot.

I think they are a good thing to have on hand.

I used to wear these but i found that when i rested my arms by my side for a short period of time, they would soak onto my shirt. They aren’t for everyone!
