Many people who experience excessive sweating may consider some desperate measures to reduce the impact on their lives. ETS surgery is one option many doctors will tout as good, but there are many risks involved in such invasive surgery.
More than 50 % of people who undergo ETS surgery suffer from more sweating than before, as compensatory sweating sets in. There are so many dangers in ETS surgery that it is far better to consider natural therapies for excessive sweating.
The complications of ETS surgery include phantom sweating, where the patient feels the sensations of sweating but is not actually sweating, heat intolerance and gustatory sweating (increased sweating when eating). And doctors don’t really know how individual patients will respond to surgery like ETS.
So if you are thinking of undergoing ETS then careful think about the dangers.

i had ETS about 3 years ago…………i used to sweat loads on my forehead which i think is the worse kind of HH.
I had to get rid of it and had the surgery.
It totally stopped my sweating but as the above suggests you do sweat from another place. In my situation it was my chest and back but that is allot more manageable to hide than on your face.
I’m still searching for the holy grail though…………

I had ETS surgery in 2009 for facial and head sweating – now I have severe back sweating for a Women is just as bad. Don’t have the surgery if you are thinking about it. look for alternatives like changing your diet
