Last week, after much research I bought an anti-perspirant ‘DRICLOR’ which is applied at night time just before going to bed. Over the past week I have been using it and then using Mitchum in the mornings and I am astounded to say that so far so good!
Although it hasn’t been the hottest of weeks, I have still been in situations where I would usually sweat excessively and I’m happy to say that this past week has been almost 100% dry! Which is fantastic!
I only hope that it continues to work but its definitely looking positive. It sure makes a difference though. I’ve had the problem of excessive sweating for many years now and as a teenager I was just told that it was normal and so, just tried as hard as I could to make it less obvious but I was always in situations where I was so embarrassed by wet underarms and it really killed my confidence.
Even in the last week i have found that I feel so much more confident and life seems to have expanded its options. If I don’t have to worry about sweat, it’s amazing how much easier things we get, even just simple things like choosing what clothes to wear.
What I find most frustrating is the fact that I am becoming a much more outgoing person; however my body doesn’t seem to understand this and still reacts as it used to with sweating and blushing etc, which then downs my confidence, which in turn makes me sweat more.
I also like to think of myself as a clean person, but when I sweat I feel disgusting and am embarrassed of what people might think. If I can change this, I know it will have a hugely positive influence on my life.
